by Caitlyn LancasterPocatello, Idaho-Darrel Weatherwax, a junior from Browning, Montana, reached for the sky in Holt Arena and grabbed first place in the boys’ high jump at Simplot Games on Saturday, February 21. Weatherwax demonstrated a victorious knowledge of the Fosbury Flop and jumped a height of 6’ 5”.
“I feel pretty good about my jump, I have done better though,” says Weatherwax (a new Simplot Games enthusiast). “I am definitely coming back next year.”
